William H. Mann III, Portfolio Manager
Bill specializes in identifying companies with underappreciated competitive advantages and assets. He has experience analyzing a wide range of industries, and it was his expertise in corporate governance that led the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation to ask him to be an expert witness at a 2001 hearing regarding the collapse of Enron. Before coming to Motley Fool Asset Management, he served as co-Advisor for The Motley Fool's Hidden Gems and Pay Dirt small-cap investment newsletter services and was the founding Advisor for The Motley Fool's Global Gains international stock newsletter service.
A sought-after public speaker, Bill has frequently appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox News Channel, CNN, BBC, CBS, and numerous business radio programs. Before joining The Motley Fool in 1999, Bill was a co-founder of a specialty international telecommunications carrier, and he previously worked in the energy and telecommunications industries. Bill holds a degree in international service from American University. He was named a 2011 Rising Star in the Mutual Fund Industry by Institutional Investor.
Bill has served as Portfolio Manager for two other mutual funds managed by the Adviser, the Motley Fool Great America Fund, since 2009 and the Motley Fool Epic Voyage Fund, since 2011.
Donald M. Krueger, Senior Analyst for Equity Research
Don has been a global investor for more than 30 years. Before joining Motley Fool Asset Management, he served as the research director for a long/short global hedge fund at Perella Weinberg Partners in New York. He has also developed and managed global portfolios -- with a heavy focus on Asian and other international markets -- for Valenzuela Capital Partners, Soros Fund Management, and Templeton International. He was a managing director at Soros Fund and a partner at Valenzuela before becoming the CFO and COO at BrightStream. Don spent his first few years in the industry as an analyst at Capital Research Company.
He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

William S. Barker, CFA, Senior Analyst for Equity Research
Bill, a senior analyst for equity research who specializes in value-stock analysis, first worked for The Motley Fool from 1998 to 2001. After rejoining the company in 2005, he wrote extensively for The Motley Fool online, as well as for three of the company's investing newsletter services: Stock Advisor, Hidden Gems, and Pay Dirt. He also contributed to three Motley Fool books.
Before coming to The Motley Fool, Bill worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission, in its Office of Investor Education and Assistance, and also for the U.S Department of the Treasury, in its Office of Foreign Assets Control, Foreign Terrorism Division. Previous to his work in finance, Bill was a trial lawyer for the Commercial Litigation division of the City Solicitor's Office in Philadelphia, and also for Patton Boggs, LLP, in Washington, where he worked as an associate. He has been published in Newsweek and has appeared as a commentator on CNN, CNBC, CNBC Europe, MSNBC, and NBC's Today show. He earned his undergraduate degree in political philosophy from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia, followed by his CFA designation in 2008.

Anthony L. Arsta, Senior Analyst for Equity Research
Tony's focus on statistical analysis and investor psychology complements his value-investing focus. After joining The Motley Fool in 2008, he contributed his writing and analysis to Motley Fool Million Dollar Portfolio, as well as several other Foolish newsletter services. Tony earned his M.B.A. with distinction from DePaul University, with a concentration in finance, and also holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Tony is a senior analyst for equity research at the Adviser. He has served as a research analyst for the Motley Fool Great America Fund since 2010 and the Motley Fool Epic Voyage Fund since 2011.
Timothy B. Hanson, Senior Analyst for Equity Research
Tim, an emerging markets specialist, joined The Motley Fool in 2005, where he researched foreign and small-cap stocks at newsletters Motley Fool Global Gains and Hidden Gems. Tim subsequently became co-advisor of Global Gains and then head of the Fool’s global equities research team, overseeing the idea generation process at various newsletters in the U.S., U.K, and Australia, and working to help the Fool expand its business abroad.
After graduating from Georgetown University with honors, Tim worked at the White House, where he helped craft messaging for economic, environmental, and national security policy. He has traveled extensively -- for business and pleasure -- in Europe, Asia, and Latin America and lived abroad in Dublin, Ireland.
